I've been actively writing my thoughts on a closed Norwegian community with blogging, and I've also posted a photo of myself there. Among the comments I've received:
You look like a Matrix guy from the Muppets.
I think he meant the assistant to the professor, the one that always goes "mi mi mi mi mi" and/or the Swedish Chef's assistant (is it the same Muppet? Anyone into muppet-lore?)
Another was:
You look like a thumb with sunglasses on.

Wouldn't you know it, yesterday I got a call saying I should be ready to start working for the Sami television news august 9 this autumn. 100% sure. I'll be thinking about it for a few days, but I'm very excited about it, and I'm probably going to take the job.
I'll also be doing extra watches with the mentally challenged kids during weekends, just to do some enjoyable and valuable work.
I'm looking forward to a nine to five (ten to eighteen, actually) job. I work best in structured enviornments, and I have more time to my own projects when doing proper work for others.

I'm working freelance now and I've been asked to acquire a bear's scull. Not on a permanent basis, just a loan. If you happen to have one lying around, give me a nod :P
In other news, the summer is beautfiul, rained all day yesterday, but the river was okay to bathe in (though it was a bit colder than the last few days before).
Yes, I take a swim every day now. Lots of fun with my younger cousins (in lieu of having kids of my own).

As things seem to go, I might be able to choose between two widely different jobs from august.

I can heartily recommend Ennio Morricone as background music for writing. Hmm, well, actually not, I often find I'm listening too closely to the beautiful melodies (for example "Good Luck, Jack"/"Buena Fortuna Jack", "Moscow Farewell"/"Adios, Moscú").
Ambient, New Age and other non-intrusive elevator music might work better.

At the Tianamen square there was a man standing in front of a column of tanks. The tanks stopped, tried to circumvent him, but he moved in front one more time. No-one knows who that man was, but the pictures from that event are as powerful now as then, and can only be rivaled by a few journalistic photos, like the burnt girl running from a misdirected napalm bomb.

According to Aftenposten (Norwegian daily newspaper) Ray Bradbury isn't thrilled about Michael Moore and the title for his next film "Fahrenheit 911". A dreadful man, he has characterized Moore.

My DNS isn't working, nada. Only place I can visit is Write On :P Now, what kind of hopeless ISP do I have which can't make their DNS work?
Someone, please, post the IP address of a DNS server here, so that I can read my daily dose of leftist news (crap to the rest of you).

I'm in search of a website of words (dictionary, thesaurus) where it is easy to search for prefixes and suffixes in the English language and have a search result of those words.
