According to Aftenposten (Norwegian daily newspaper) Ray Bradbury isn't thrilled about Michael Moore and the title for his next film "Fahrenheit 911". A dreadful man, he has characterized Moore.

Well, Moore is probably viewed more as a comedian in the US than in Europe (where we kind of think of him as more a social critic than a comedian), and he is threading on the sensibilities of those who like to thread on other people. And I think Moore will survive Bradbury's charracterizations.

But, me, well, I think I didn't like much of Bradbury's work anyway... Certainly never financed him (since his works is avaiable in the library), more than I can say about Moore (his book "Stupid White Men" is in my personal library).

Nah, Bradbury is great, I just think it is strange for a writer with such a good book like "Fahrenheit 451" where repression and authoritarian leadership is truly shown for what it is to characterize someone who try to show the same in today's America as a "dreadful man".

Churchill said: "Any man who is under 30, and is not a liberal, has not heart; and any man who is over 30, and is not a conservative, has no brains."

Perhaps that's where Bradbury is comming from :P
