origins of Write-On (none/0) (#1)

This is more of a question than a comment, but I'm wondering how and where (perhaps region specific) Write-On began. Has it always been a website, or was there a paper edition some years ago? I ask only to satisfy my curiosity: I was involved with a print Write-On a number of years ago, and I'd like to know whether this web version is an extension of that.

This site isn't affiliated or related to any magazines, and never has been. I found out after I chose the name "Write On!" that there were a few other publications with that name.

What kind of stuff did your "Write On" print? ...if you don't mind me asking.
