I took the quiz on behalf of one of my main characters (she appears in two of my nanos, which are interrelated in other ways as well). And, um, wow, is she ever. I guess I should think about that on the inevitable rewrite.

Mary Sue is so common... I know my first few stories had Mary-Sue-ish characters all over them. You eventually learn how to strike that balance between competence and infallibility in a character. It takes practise, and it takes knowing what it is you're practising!
